Course Aims
The course is designed to introduce readers to the interactive and programming language of MS Visual FoxPro. The course readers will cover: how to use the interactive features of Visual FoxPro; understand the class and object structure of Visual FoxPro; be able to build a data dictionary with validation and security; design data input forms; create and use new classes; create and use new objects.
Assumed Knowledge
Readers from a FoxPro background should have several months experience of using FoxPro to search databases, to add and delete information and to crate reports. Readers from other backgrounds should have a year's experience of another visual development tool.
Course Audience
Existing FoxPro users for DOS, Windows, Macintosh or Unix who wish to move to using the Object-Oriented approach of MS Visual FoxPro. Users of other MS Visual tools who wish to use FoxPro for the database aspects of their work.
