Course Aims
This course covers the competencies and skills identified as key to power Unix users and developers. The course aims are to give readers a good understanding of the Unix operating system sufficient to meet the needs of advanced user. Providing hands-on experience, on completion of the course the reader will be able to use a variety of commands, tools and utilities.
Assumed Knowledge
Familiarity with basic Unix computing and programming concepts is required as gained from the work environment or by prior attendence on a "Unix User Introduction" course.
